Aug, 11th 2007 -  After a rough start in the second half of the race season with 3 hard wrecks in the last 3 races, the long trip to Scotia Speedway in Halifax, Nova Scotia pays off  for the 17 Irving Oil Race Team, with a second place finish in the PASS "Atlantic CAT 250".

Qualifying inside the top ten for the start of the race. Quickly moved up into the top 3. Until  a tire went down, pitting under caution, Travis had to restart the race in the back of the back. Once again the Travis made his way through traffic to get up into the top 5.

Caution flag around lap 130 the entire field came into the pits.  The Benjamin Motorsports Race Team, went to work once again changing all 4 tires.

With 5 laps to go Travis made a run on the leader Mike Rowe was able to get around to take the checkered flag.  Travis said in a post race comment "I was happy with 2nd after the past month." This is Travis 3rd top 3 finish of the season.

This upcoming weekend The 17 Team heads to Wiscasset Speedway.
