Benjamin Motorsports finish strong but come up a little short!

This past weekend was our final points races of the season at Wiscasset Raceway. In practice we were 2nd and 3rd fast so I knew we had a good car. In our qualifying heat we led every lap and won, so that would start us 11th for the feature. In the feature we need to beat Ben Rowe and Johnny Clark by 10 positions to win the Championship.

After 50 laps of the feature we were running 3rd. On the next green flag run we took the lead until 40 laps to go. At that point Johnny was 9th and Ben was 13th and I thought we had a chance but we fell back to 3rd at the end of the race and thats were we finished and Johnny worked his way up to 5th and Ben finished 10th. The Championship went to Johnny Clark. Thanks for all the support to everyone involved this season!
