May 18th 2008 -  The Benjamin Motorsports race team raced at Wiscasset Raceway this past weekend and got our second top 3 in the  second PASS race of the season. In the heat race we started outside pole and was running second and on the last lap went for the win and finished third.

That would start the team 8th for the 125 lap race. At the start of the race we moved to 6th on the first lap. On the next restart we started making our charge on the outside as we passed everyone and put us in second. We would run second the rest of the race. We thought we had something for Johnny until we lost our power steering with 40 laps to go.

With 25 laps to go there was another caution and the last 25 laps were green and our car was good on long runs and crossing the finish line we were beside Johnny but just short of the win. Special thanks to the Thompson Family for there sponsorship they will be on the car again for next months Pass race at Wiscasset.
