FLAT TIRE WHILE LEADING RUINS SHOT AT A WIN

 

On Tuesday night the PASS series was at Lee USA Speedway.  This would be the first start for Travis out of the Richard Moody Racing stable.  After qualifing 7th, Travis and team thought they had a really good car.

 

At the start of the feature the car was a little tight but after a long green flag run to start the race the car started to come to life.  During the first caution the team was in 6th and on the next restart Travis would move into 2nd place behind Johnny Clark.  After a few laps Travis would get by Clark and hold the lead until lap 101 when contact with a lapped car would cut down a tire. 

After the flat tire Travis would be 2 laps down and would just have to ride out the rest of the race.  "We had an awesome car tonight.  We will try to get them this weekend."
